The Oxnard Jazz Festival is back for year seven, taking over the coast September 10–13, 2026, and if you’ve been before, you know it’s less a jazz show and more a whole vibe. The lineup mixes jazz with Latin, soul, blues, and R&B — something for pretty much everyone, whether you’re a die-hard jazz head or just there for the food trucks and sunshine.
This year it’s a full weekend instead of just a couple stage days. Things kick off with a comedy night, then a winery brunch with live jazz, and a 70’s glam-themed VIP party before the main stage gets going. Sunday closes it out with a dance party that leans into reggae and warmer rhythms — a good way to send off summer.
Bring a blanket or low chair for the lawn, or spring for VIP if you want more space and less hassle. Between sets, the vendor marketplace has food trucks and local small businesses worth checking out. If you haven’t made it out to OJF yet, this is a solid year to start. It’s grown a lot since the early years, and it still feels like ours.
When: September 10–13, 2026
Where: College Park, Oxnard
What to expect: Live jazz, Latin, soul, blues, and R&B performances; food trucks and vendor marketplace; VIP experiences; family-friendly daytime programming
