Dalaney and Shayna sit down with Tawney Noriega of Ventura County Business Women (VCBW) for a candid conversation about female entrepreneurship, building genuine community, taking off the “professional mask,” and the realities of being a business owner in Ventura, California. Tawney discusses her roots and early mentorship from her sister, the story behind scaling VCBW to over 7,000 members, her experience with extreme burnout and inner healing, plus her views on organic marketing, overcoming the fear of rejection, business collaboration, Human Design, and why local women need to stop striving for perfection in professional spaces.
This debut episode of She’s Got This gets beyond the fake, hyper-curated networking events to examine Tawney Noriega’s raw struggles, leadership evolution, and authentic approach to empowering women in Ventura County.
The video podcast for the women building Ventura County.
Shop owners, founders, nonprofit leaders, side-hustlers, the women quietly holding this community together: we sit down with them on camera and just talk. No fancy studio, no PR spin, just real stories.
Every episode mixes it up. Two hosts chat with a different local woman each time, so no two episodes feel the same.
